Located at 124 Main Street in historic Morris, NY, what is now known as BVACC began its tenure in 1832 as a dry goods store. It then housed the Kenyon Free Library from 1921 - 1969. When the library relocated, the building was purchased by the John Whitman family. Roy Bartlett, an area craftsperson, was instrumental in working with members of the Whitman family to donate the building as an arts and crafts center in 1971.
